Seven online gaming operators in the Netherlands have been warned by the regulator about offering unauthorised betting markets to players.

Kansspelautoriteit (KSA) did not name the operators in question who it said were offering bets on matches involving people aged under 21.

The licensees were also taking wagers on corners and cards last season, which the KSA says can lead to an “increased risk of manipulation.”

The operators have been summoned to cease and desist the offers and those who have not reported that they offer such markets “must be alert to these types of errors and report any incidents to the KSA,” the regulator said.

The KSA said a sanction could follow if a follow-up investigation at a later date finds such markets are still available.
