Relaxed online bingo rules in the Netherlands have come to a halt.

The regulator KSA (Kansspelautoriteit) had extended temporary leniency towards those offering online bingo during lockdown amid the Covid-19 pandemic, with unlicensed operators able to provide games for players provided they were not run for profit.

The KSA stated: “It is normally prohibited without a licence to offer a game of chance in which a prize can be won. The reason to stop the leniency is that the corona measures will be further relaxed from 1 July and people will no longer have to be in isolation.”
