A huge court case in Australia over cryptocurrency casino Stake.com could involve hip-hop superstar Drake.

The Australian-based founders of Stake.com had Drake as their lead ambassador for the business, which is now one of the world’s largest online casinos. He may now been dragged into the case to give evidence.
Founders Ed Craven and Bijan Tehrani are facing a US$500m claim in New York courts by Christopher Freeman, who is claiming to be a former business partner of the pair. He is claiming that he was an original founder but was cut out when Craven and Tehrani set up Stake.com in Australia in 2018.
The successful online casino and sports betting site only allows bets in cryptocurrency. Australian newspaper The Age, outlining the case, said that Stake.com is now the lead jersey sponsor for Premier League club Everton.
The management of Stake.com went on record in the newspaper as denying that Freeman had ever been involved in the Stake business and had never been a shareholder.
