ICE Totally Gaming’s parent company, Clarion Events, is in the final stages of acquiring rival show organiser and magazine publisher iGaming Business from Electric Word plc.

The publisher provides online gaming and affiliate marketing through its magazine, trade show and conferences and its website. Its Affiliate Conferences are held annually in London, Berlin and Amsterdam.
Clarion’s gaming managing director, Kate Chambers, said that the acquisition would fit neatly with the Clarion portfolio of events, which already include ICE, EiG and GiGse.
“The iGaming Business management team has established an important niche within the online gaming sector and is recognised as a provider of high quality industry analysis and focused events.,” she said. “This acquisition will enable us to combine the strengths within the two groups.”
Alex Pratt of iGaming Business said: “Clarion is widely regarded as the leading event organiser in gaming and we will be harnessing its expertise in order to improve customer engagement across our events.
“Becoming part of Clarion will add value to our current brands and provide an opportunity to take new products to emerging markets.”
