This study is part of the National Responsible Gaming Strategy that is being carried out by the Superintendency of Gaming Casinos.

It seeks to educate players, their families and society in general, along with reporting on problematic behaviours and/or pathologies with gambling and how to prevent them, encouraging good responsible gambling practices.

Among the main results of the survey was that eight out of 10 young people have played online or have been on online platforms where other people play.

Of this figure, 89 per cent are men, the majority correspond to ages between 15 and 19 years old (82 per cent) and of high socioeconomic level (82 per cent).

On average, those who play online spend seven hours a week doing so, while those who watch other people play through platforms such as Twitch or YouTube do so for six hours from Monday to Sunday.
