Based in London, da Silva will focus on licence sales of the CashBet mobile-first i-gaming platform to real-money gaming publishers.

Dr Mike Reaves, CEO and co-founder of CashBet, said: “CashBet is in a unique position, poised for global expansion through our platform technology and resources.

“With the addition of da Silva's expertise to lead our efforts, we'll further be able to drive the global expansion of our commercial licensing business.”

Da Silva said he was delighted with the move. “The experience, maturity and quality invested in the CashBet platform is clearly visible to any operator facing the demands of running a cost-effective real-money wagering business that is increasingly dominated by mobile players,” he said.

“I’m looking forward to the many discussions we will have with operators in 2016.”
