Big Time Gaming, the game developer behind titles including Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? and Bonanza, has penned an agreement to share its patented and trademarked MegaWays mechanic with iSoftBet.
The deal means that iSoftBet can use MegaWays in its original and branded titles to provide its players with the same experience offered through Big Time Gaming’s proprietary slots.
MegaWays is a random reel modifier system that sees any given spin produce a different number of symbols across the reels, allowing players to experience a totally different game with every spin. The mechanic debuted in BTG’s Dragon Born four years ago.
Nik Robinson, CEO of Big Time Gaming, said: “MegaWays has proved to be one of the most innovative game innovations in the history of online slots, and we are thrilled to be sharing our patented and trademarked mechanic with iSoftBet.
“iSoftBet has emerged as a formidable game developer and has built a substantial portfolio of original and branded slots. We believe that MegaWays is in very good hands with the iSoftBet team, and we look forward to seeing what they come up with.”
