Betsson, the Swedish igaming and sports betting company, is shedding 160 jobs as part of a restructure and streamlining operation.

The changes, which are designed to save an estimated SEK50-60m (€5.1-6.1m), will be implemented this month by the Swedish firm and costs relating to the restructure will be related in the interim report for Q1 2018.
Pontus Lindwall, CEO of Betsson, said: "In cooperation with the operational management team, we have started to implement actions to improve operations.
“The restructured organisation will be more streamlined with clearer responsibilities, which I believe will improve its efficiency over time.”
