Provider of global internet payment and e-commerce solutions Adyen announced at EiG this week that its payment platform has been chosen by Betsafe, supplier of online gaming products in northern Europe.
Betsafe is implementing the solution from Adyen to increase international conversion figures and streamline the payment process for its customers. "Adyen provides us with the flexibility and transparency to meet our global payment requirements," said Olga Bencini, payment solutions director at Betsafe. "By choosing Adyen we can be sure that our customers are able to use their credit cards on betsafe.com without problems or obstructions."
Adyen has only been in the gaming sector for around six months but is already working with Greentube, and more recently Betsafe. Speaking to iNTERGAMINGi at EiG yesterday, Markus Friedrichs from Adyen acknowledged the fact that there are a number of PSPs in the egaming industry but added that what makes Adyen different is its technology. "Because we only started in 2006, our technology is new." Friedrichs added: "We are technology driven, quick, flexible and we make it happen."
