BetMGM will be able to create more NHL-branded casino games as part of a partnership extension with the National Hockey League in North America.

The operator, jointly owned by Entain and MGM Resorts joint, released NHL Gold Blitz earlier in December.

As part of the extended collaboration, BetMGM will also continue as an official sports betting and gaming partner of the competition and will create bespoke VIP fan experiences.

BetMGM will furthermore receive branding within nationally televised broadcasts in the US, covering the regular season and Stanley Cup Playoffs.

BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt said: “Our partnership extension with the NHL enables us to enhance the BetMGM product and offer fans unforgettable entertainment built around the game they love.”

The NHL’s vice president of business development Jason Jazayeri added that the new partnership will focus on “building unique and compelling fan experiences” alongside “event activation and media programming all with an eye towards delivering exciting new ways for our fans to interact and engage with the sport they love."
