BetMakers Technology Group’s Global Racing Network is to offer thoroughbred racing content via a deal with Selangor Turf Club in Malaysia.
The agreement will see the network provide fixed odds, booked bets and exchange wagering in the UK and Ireland.
BetMakers has also become a sponsor of racing at Selangor Turf Club, presenting the BetMakers Cup on December 4.
Kerry Gatten, vice president of Global Racing Network, said she wants Selangor Turf Club to have “as much visibility” as possible to achieve growth targets in new markets.
Lance Ku, international operations manager and director of sales and business development in Asia for BetMakers’ Global Tote, added the new partnership enhances BetMakers’ footprint in Asia amid existing relationships with clients in Macau, Hong Kong, Vietnam and elsewhere in Malaysia.
