The Berlin-based company, whose clients include bet365, will become the first supplier in the US to leverage official esports live data directly from a game publisher.

Bayes hopes its expansion will support the next generation of online betting experiences.

The move into the two states will allow betting operators to offer esports betting services with the integrity of esports in mind. bet365 are the frontrunners, as they are expanding their partnership with Bayes to the US.

Bayes Esports COO and managing director, Amir Mirzaee, said that while the US betting market is “lagging behind” that of Europe, it will “without a doubt” become “one of the biggest and most relevant” markets in the future.

He added: “Out of all the states, New Jersey and Colorado happened to be the most progressive and open to innovation, but we expect others to follow suit very shortly.”

Bayes is also working to shape the legislation around online betting and esports in the US.

The company is liaising with relevant governing bodies and legislative powers, such as the Nevada Gaming Control Board, to ensure legal and responsible avenues for online betting and esports.
