32Red has reportedly been awarded costs following High Court victory in its trademark dispute with William Hill, bringing the total due to 32Red to £1.1m.

Along with the damages, awarded in relation to William Hill’s use of the 32 Vegas and 32V brands, 32Red now expects to receive approximately £1.1m from William Hill. 32Red has said that an interim payment of £800,000 has already been received.
Ed Ware, CEO of 32Red, said: “Today’s costs award marks the end of four years’ litigation that has seen all of our trademarks validated in the High Court and the removal of an infringing site from the market.
“The 32Vegas brand was damaging to our business and litigation was the only available solution,” added Ware.
