DESPITE concerns around the regulatory landscape across Europe, there is still room for growth across the continent.

According to the European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA), the online gaming sector saw an 11.7 per cent year-on-year revenue increase in 2024, with further growth projected. M&A is one obvious way gaming companies can seek growth and add value – and this is naturally the method which tends to dominate the news headlines, especially among the larger, publicly listed operators. However, smaller operators are also proving their ability to evolve and grow.
