German designer and manufacturer of inflatable water park attractions Wibit displayed its customary brightly coloured products on its suitably vibrant stand in Orlando at IAAPA and revealed that its future is brightly coloured too.

CEO Romann Rademacher revealed that Wibit’s product is attracting attention from many in the US. “We had TV cameras here on the first day to cover our involvement in the Nona Adventure Park on Lake Nona just near the airport here in Orlando,” he said

Not content with the east coast, he continued: "We also had an investment group visit us which included Steve Wynn [CEO of Wynn Resorts] and his entourage to consider our products for a resort development in Las Vegas.”

The growth for Wibit in North America isn’t just limited to large-scale resorts either. “There is a big boom for Wibit in smaller attractions that are close to water. Wibit is taking care of the water needs. It’s a growing market in the US for FECs and attractions to have a water element, it’s the next big thing. We’re the number-one brand to provide the water attractions.”

Helping the brand succeed in the US are two distribution partners that are in place in North America to assist expansion on the continent: “Both have grown the business in the last two to three years. Expectations for 2018 are even higher,” Rademacher explained.

The other area of interest for Wibit is in the Asian market. “There are two trade shows that service the tremendous growth in the amusement industry there and we make sure to attend both. The European market, which is our domestic one, is pretty stable, so this helps us to focus on our growth in the US and Asia as well,” said Rademacher.
