The second annual Visitor Attraction Expo is to be held at ExCeL London from January 12-14, 2016, organiser Swan Events has confirmed.
VAE 2016 will again take place alongside EAG International, the European coin-op and amusement event.
Following on from its launch this year, the event, presented by trade association BALPPA with the support of BACTA, focuses on leisure parks, piers, indoor attractions, zoos and indoor play.
It attracted a wide variety of exhibitors, including providers of promotional products, adventure play, inflatables, laser games, visitor transport, food and beverage, indoor play, small rides, motion simulation and a host of services including insurance, staff training and specialist purchasing solutions.
“As anticipated, this year there was a great deal of traffic between the two shows,” said organiser Karen Cooke.
“Many of our exhibitors and even more of the visitors now operate in several market sectors. The coin-op market can provide incremental revenues to operators of attractions, while many of the traditional coin-op locations are expanding into new areas such as adventure play and 4D motion theatre. We’ve made it easy for visitors to move freely between the two shows, creating a win-win situation for exhibitors and visitors alike.”
The three-day event will have new opening hours: 10am to 6pm on the first two days and 10am until 4pm on the third.
