Yet more Covid-19 rules are being introduced that affect pubs and arcades in the UK.

Covid England

In England, they must close from 10pm to 5am, all staff and customers must wear face coverings unless eating and drinking and customers must be seated.

Additionally, venues have to collect contact details of customers so that the "track and trace" system can work if someone visiting is subsequently found to be infected.

In Wales the regulations dictate that venues have to close until 6am but drinkers in pubs have an extra 20 minutes at 10pm to finish their drinks and the 10pm closing time does not apply to arcades. Face coverings and customer details rules also exist.

Scotland has similar closing times - again, arcades are not impacted with timings - but the face coverings rule applies, as does collecting contact details.
