Changes have been announced to the format of the annual Amusement Expo held by the American trade associations in Las Vegas.

This week the joint owners, the operators’ association, AMOA, and the suppliers’ organisation, AAMA, released details of the plan for 2014 when the show will be held on March 25-27.

In fact, only the Wednesday and Thursday, March 26 and 27 will see the exhibit floor open at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The opening day will be given over to an education programme.

The organisers, responding to feedback from visitor polling, have designated the opening day for “Knowledge Sessions”, with a succession of seminars. The plans have the approval of the National Bulk Vending Association, which for the past three years has been co-locating with the Amusement Expo.
