THERE is nothing to compare with meeting fellow operators face-to-face or seeing new games first hand – the key elements to a successful coin-op trade show.

However, that is not possible in this new age of lockdown and it is a factor that is prevalent in the amusement industry internationally. The 2020 diary is littered with postponed and cancelled trade shows and conferences, many of them pushed back more than once in the hope of a miraculous cessation of pandemic.
