The American Amusement Machine Association, the International Association of Trampoline Parks and the Roller Skating Association jointly canvassed their membership for feedback.

Two-thirds of the responses showed that venues had seen income reduced to less than 50 per cent of 2019 levels.  Eighty-eight per cent had reduced their staffing levels in March-April of this year and only 50 per cent had been able to start taking on staff again. Over 80 per cent feel that it will be at least six months before their business returns to pre-pandemic levels.

The majority of the US-based operators had applied for state assistance to help them remain in business throughout the pandemic.
