A water slide will return to Manteca, in northern California, US, when Great Wolf Resorts, a group that runs indoor water parks in the US and Canada, opens a major venue there, 13 years after the last water slide venue in Manteca closed down.
The Great Wolf Lodge plans have been given unanimous approval by the Manteca City Council following nearly 10 years of on-off negotiations. Work should begin later this year with opening planned for 2020.
It will cover 510,000sq.ft and will include an hotel and 100,000 square feet of water attractions, plus an FEC, restaurant and events rooms. Great Wolf Resorts has 17 locations in the US and one in Canada.
