A first of its kind for the UK, Total Recoil is due to open its doors in Manchester on October 13.
Imitation weapons are used to fire at targets on giant screens within booths where a recommended four people can also enjoy cocktails and “freakshakes” from the full bar. Beer is served in ammunition box ice buckets.
The standard weapon provided is a shotgun however upgrades will be available for guests to take on 200 virtual programmes including, shooting ranges, abandoned buildings.
The attraction will open within sight of the Chill Factore indoor ski and snow venue which is housed within the Beyond leisure development in the city.
Mini Vara, business development manager for Total Recoil, told the Manchester Evening News: "Manchester will be our flagship site but we're looking to spread all over the UK.
"Everyone seems to love it so far. It's a lot like the old school arcade games but it's bigger and better. The screens are nine feet, the guns feel real - they're weighted and kickback a bit like a real gun."
