The funeral of Ron Vinson, the well-known London-based operator and machine sales personality, will be held on Tuesday, May 6, but in accordance with Ron’s wishes the event is restricted to family only.

Ron, who was 65, died on Wednesday of last week after a long illness, leaving a wife, Jill, and two children.
He was a leading personality in the UK industry for nearly 50 years, starting with Lincolnshire Automatics as a technician in the early 1970s and moving on to Ameco and Arlington Leisure.
After a period at Casino Coin he went into sales with Deith Leisure, Direct Machine Distributors and Eurocoin. Ron spent a period in product development at John Huxley and 20 years ago formed his own business, AMS Ltd.
