Woodbury Corporation, a real estate management and development company, has unveiled Gamescape by Cinemark as the anchor tenant of a new mixed-use space in Omaha, Nebraska, US, known as The Crossroads.

Gamescape

Gamescape is an immersive entertainment destination which features a range of attractions, including bowling, an arcade, laser tag and a full-service restaurant.

“Gamescape by Cinemark brings a new family entertainment destination to Omaha and will be part of the revival of this true crossroads of our city,” said Mayor Jean Stothert.

“Woodbury and WRK Real Estate are great partners and will deliver a spectacular development. We can all be confident in the construction timeline and Woodbury’s record of successful development all over the country.”

The first Gamescape venue recently opened in El Paso, Texas, and included seven auditoriums, a large arcade, laser tag and 18 lanes of bowling.

“We have been excited to share this tenant and there’s nothing like it in the area. It’s the perfect first tenant that will set the tone for the rest of The Crossroads project,” said Jeff Woodbury, senior vice president of development and acquisitions at Woodbury Corporation.

“Without the leadership of the city and mayor, we would not have been able to get this deal done with Cinemark. We look forward to continuing to work with Mayor Jean Stothert and her team to bring high-calibre tenants to the city.”

A groundbreaking event is expected to be held in June, with construction planned to begin immediately after.

“We are pleased to work with Woodbury, WRK Real Estate and the city of Omaha to bring Gamescape by Cinemark, the ultimate family entertainment destination, to the community,” said Jay Jostrand, executive vice president of real estate and construction for Cinemark.

“The Crossroads is an ideal location for this new build’s wide array of amenities and activities fit for every occasion and interest.”
