Plans for Saudi Arabia’s first water theme park have been unveiled.

Qiddiya is set to be the Middle East's largest water park

The 2.7m sq.ft Qiddiya Water Theme Park is set to be the biggest in the Middle East and more than SAR 2.8bn (US$750m) has already been handed out in contracts.

It is under development by Falcon’s Creative Group, an experienced design company based out of Florida, US, with 20 years of experience in the field of theme park design.

Nine zones have been announced for the park, which will contain 22 rides and attractions alongside 17 F&B and retail outlets. The zones pay tribute to Qiddiya’s native wildlife and geography, including Camel Rock, Wave Wadi and Arabian Peak.
