Immersive adventure attraction ParadropVR has launched at Tridom, Landmark Group’s new 70,000sq.ft indoor amusement centre in Hyderabad, India.

The new FEC at Sarath City Capital Mall opened earlier this month and ParadropVR manufacturer Frontgrid says its experience received a “rapturous response from guests.”

“Since launching in 2017, ParadropVR has quickly established itself as the leading adventure attraction for leisure and entertainment brands,” said Frontgrid CEO Matt Wells. “We’re delighted to be working with Citymax Hotels India and Landmark Group at this exciting new location and look forward to seeing the results.”

Landmark Leisure CEO Silvio Liedtke said: “We’re delighted to be launching India’s first ParadropVR. Our goal is to offer the most innovative, exciting and state-of-the-art games and experiences to teens and kids, so it really is a great fit.”

The installation at Tridom is the first ParadropVR location in India, coming hot on the heels of Frontgrid’s launch of the City Flyer at the King Power Mahanakhon in Bangkok, Thailand. Further installations planned for 2019 include the Genting Highlands Resort in Malaysia.

Designed to help indoor entertainment centres attract new and repeat visitors, ParadropVR puts guests at the heart of an immersive adventure with an interactive, skill-based game plus an integrated ticketing system and app.

Four new units of the game were previewed at the IAAPA Expo Europe in Paris recently, including the new City Flyer and Desert Flyer experiences. The ride received a positive response at the show, with close to 300 attendees experiencing the ride.

Frontgrid will also be exhibiting at IAAPA Expo in Orlando from November 19-22.
