Leading UK trampoline park operator, Oxygen Freejumping, has announced an extensive programme of reinvestment across its portfolio of parks, introducing new innovative features and activities.

Oxygen Freejumping

The 30,000sq.ft West Acton park in London, having originally opened its doors in July 2015, will be the first of the parks to receive a makeover, which is part of a rolling reinvestment program for all of Oxygen’s parks across the UK. Oxygen will invest more than £500,000 in the refurbishment at West Acton and new features will be introduced to provide an “activity focused” consumer experience, where the consumer undertakes numerous individual challenges and games.

The new zones being introduced across the group will include, reaction walls, slam dunk basketball hoops, trampoline volleyball, ninja warrior courses, professional gymnastic zones and sprung gymnastic floors.

The new features are designed to appeal to a broad demographic and to a capture a range of events from children’s birthday parties to adults at corporate events.

New and improved performance gymnastic zones will support the continued growth of Oxygen’s School of Trampolining which teaches over 2,500 customers accredited gymnastics tuition every week.

Acton is a natural starting point for the reinvestment programme as London is a key focus for Oxygen. In September 2017 Oxygen announced the future opening of a new 30,000 sq.ft trampoline park at The O2 in London, taking the total number of parks to 11 in the UK. This site will be the first of three new sites in and around London that the company is expecting to announce in 2018, taking its total number of trampoline parks in the capital to five. All 10 jumping zones in Acton will be open for customers on December 19.

David Stalker, CEO of Oxygen Freejumping, commented: “The Oxygen experience is so much more than simply ‘jumping on a trampoline’, and our reinvestment programme will introduce new facilities as well as a brand new look and feel for each park. Acton was our first park in the UK and since opening it has welcomed over one million visitors.  The re-investment will ensure we can welcome even more jumpers during 2018 and beyond.

“Oxygen remains committed to providing a fun and safe jumping environment. Our mission is to support the Government’s drive to address UK childhood obesity and we believe trampolining, being such a popular leisure activity with added health benefits, is one solution to the problem.”
