This month’s Romanian gaming show highlighted the possibility that the country could be open to video lottery terminals, the Synot Group said.
The Czech gaming company exhibited at the Entertainment Arena Expo on September 2-4 in Bucharest, presenting its Explosive Games I – IV and a full range of its VLT terminals, including the new Trinity Black and White cabinets. Visitors were also able to experience the company’s fixed odds betting terminal, TNT 4.
“A decision to participate in the Romanian exhibition, of course, has not come out of the blue,” said Roland Andrýsek, sales director at the Synot Group. “Not only do we take part in similar prestigious events regularly, but also there is a possibility of opening up the lottery market for video lottery terminals in Romania.
“Synot Group, as a leader in this market segment, is waiting for the legislative determination that will clearly define the conditions for operating.”
The response from visitors to the show was positive and the company established new business contacts.
“In Romania,” continued Andrýsek, “we have got a lot of experience under our belt; we operate around 900 machines and we are achieving good results there. Synot Group operates in many countries all around the world so we are able to adapt to different legislation and conditions.”
