WHEN looking back at the corresponding edition of this esteemed magazine 12 months ago, it is difficult not to feel pangs of nostalgia.

Ah, those halcyon days – at least, in this writer’s part of the world – where families could venture out of their homes to enjoy themselves in groups, indoors, with barely a care in the world other than the dilemma of what to eat and drink after an afternoon of wholesome, enjoyable entertainment.
