The Mothman Museum in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, US, has added a Mothman-themed mini-golf course and escape room.

Mothman Museum

The Mothman, in West Virginian folklore, is a humanoid creature reportedly seen in the Point Pleasant area between 1966 and 1967.

Mothman Blacklight Mini-Golf is a nine-hole indoor course. The course is themed around Mothman escaping from a government containment facility and wreaking havoc in the surrounding area. Players golf past aliens, government agents and local landmarks before reaching the finale, which brings the course to an exciting end with a captured Mothman animatronic.

The Mothman ’66 Escape Room opened in early July. During the escape room, you play the role of a “Water Panther Paranormal” investigator searching for clues that will lead you to a fellow investigator who has gone missing.

As well as these attractions, customers can also purchase a Mothman root beer.
