The programme for the MENALAC Conference to be held in conjunction with the DEAL trade show in Dubai (March 25-27) has been announced.
The conference programme begins the day before the show, with the CEO Conclave, a gathering of top executives from the attractions industry across the region discussing the state of the market. The topics include the real opportunities in Saudi Arabia, food and beverage concepts, a panel discussion on disruptions for FECs and other issues affecting locations.
Day two will see the Safety Conference when key speakers will cover vital issues concerning the safety of customers at venues across the region. There will be updates from the Emirates International Accreditation Centre, another from EN Standards, a discussion on rides design safety features and maintenance, compliance, design methodology and integrating development.
The sessions will take place in the Diamond Meeting Room at the Novotel in the World Trade Centre. A line-up of distinguished speakers will include Silvio Liedtke, CEO at Landmark Leisure, Andrew Such, director of operations at MAF Leisure, Scott Forbes, president and CEO at iPlayCo, Gary Stern, president of Stern Pinball, and Nabil Kassim, general manager at Warehouse of Games.
