Lulu Hypermarkets will take the first major tenancy at the new Doha Mall in Qatar, operated by Al Mana Malls.
The mall (pictured) will contain 250 retail outlets and 14 anchor stores, a new FLiK Cinemas venue with 12 screens, a tenpin bowling centre, an FEC with a trampoline park and adventure park for children and a wide variety of F&B options totalling 60 in all.
The mall is set for opening in February of next year and the tenancy by Lulu is seen as a major endorsement for the mall. Lulu will use 8000sq.m for its store that will serve the local Abu Hamour district of Doha.
Over 25 per cent of Doha’s population live within 5km of the mall and it is expected to serve around one million shoppers each month.
