The product featuress a vest and phaser design with lighting effects, a capacitive touch phaser screen and interactive chest screen. It boasts phaser vandalism detection, a durable polycarbonate design and plug-and-play components.

Jeff Willy, COO, told InterGame he felt that visually appealing lights were a key factor in this year’s awards.

He said: “QubicaAMF came in first with its HyperBowling product and its lights are really appealing. Our design team knocked it out of the park as well and I think that is why we have done so well this year.”

He said that there is now an eight to 10-week waiting list for the product for operators who would like it installed.

“We’re certainly at capacity for the rest of 2018, but we are happy to take orders for January and February,” he added.

He explained that he and the company’s founder, Len Kelly, have both added the product to their own operations in the US and Australia respectively. “And that is a massive bonus when you’re telling potential customers about it. The number one thing they want to know is ‘will it make me more money?’ and we can say that since we have introduced it to our sites, Len’s revenue has gone up 20 per cent and mine has gone up i5 per cent,” he said.

The system started shipping globally in June and has already been installed on four continents.
