The game has been re-engineered and is now ready to ship, just in time for the NCAA March Madness college basketball tournaments. LAI Games assert that the new edition brings a "modern twist" to old-school street basketball, with its state-of-the-art HDTV backboard bolstering gameplay through sharp and engaging graphics.

In the game, players race against the clock in order to beat their goal in up to five rounds. High-octane music, play-by-play commentary and the machine's dynamic LED cabinet work to give the game an impressive presence for any entertainment location. Players can go solo, or operators can link up to eight cabinets to play in VS mode.

Its "Carry the Team" VS mode means if a friend fails to meet their goal, a successful player can carry the team to the next round, where they play for fun instead of tickets. The machine also comes fitted with features such as ticket dispensing, a universal connector link and is card system, coin acceptor and bill acceptor ready.
