The world’s largest trade show for the amusement industry is now under way in Orlando, with seminars, workshops and venue tours in the resort area and the opening of the trade show tomorrow for a four-day run.
IAAPA Expo 2019 will attract nearly 40,000 professionals from over 100 countries to the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, US, to see the latest products and innovations for theme parks, attractions, family fun centres, arcades and other leisure venues.
The show will represent a global industry that generates US$360bn annually and will have over 1,000 exhibitors in over nine miles of aisles covering 560,000sq.ft of net floor space.
The 100-plus educational experiences are already under way and is partnering a programme of behind-the-scenes tours of local attractions. There are also 50 networking events under way this week for members and a series of awards for outstanding presentations and products.
