There were many LBVR products showcased at IAAPA last week but without doubt one of the busiest booths was that of Hologate.

Blitz Hologate

Queues to play the Arena Tower and the new Blitz simulator were snaking down the aisle every minute of the four days of the show and the reception wasn’t lost on COO and co-founder Robert Fankhaenel.

“Everybody’s thrilled about it, we’ve had lines all day. It’s the most advanced simulator on the show floor and the market and we’re really proud of it.”

A racing and flying simulator, the Blitz naturally lends itself to a greater range of games. The steering wheel on the chassis can be fixed to either work on a single or double axis with a simple pull of a lever, to accommodate whatever game the unit may be operating.

Fankhaenel explained how all the motion that the Blitz platform physically performs is translated into the in-game world, rather than only mirror movement partially. “The Blitz does it all. We’ve designed it to be the ultimate experience. It’s physical and super responsive, just like actual karting. It’s partying and racing all in one. “

Next to the Blitz was the Arena Tower. A steel structure that can double an operator’s Hologate capacity without doubling the floor space used, it’s designed to be an ideal solution for facilities with high vertical clearance who want to maximise revenue-per-square-foot and offer a centrepiece, anchor attraction. The themed tower allows for the install of one Hologate Arena above another one or even a Blitz.
