“We are extremely grateful for the players, operators and owners that have helped us reach this massive achievement. Being able to create an experience that is so globally valued is truly an honour for us," said Leif Petersen, CEO of Hologate.
US agent for the LBVR brand Creative Works recently facilitated an installation for Andretti Indoor Karting and Games and is also enjoying the success provided by the platform. "This milestone shows the enormous impact this attraction brings to venues all over the world,” said Armando Lanuti, president at Creative Works. “The revenue and ROI numbers are great for operators, but more importantly we love seeing the smiles on customers' faces when they play. The Hologate team continues pushing the limits to deliver new game content that will create memories for guests and keep them coming back."
Other plaudits have come in from Two Bit Circus, the world’s first micro-amusement park in Los Angeles and one of Hologate’s flagship locations. "Creating an amazing VR experience is no easy feat. And when you couple that with the demands and throughput of consumers, it's impressive that public VR experiences even exist," said Brent Bushnell, CEO. "Hologate has not only developed VR experiences that are social, engaging and fun, they've hit a milestone that most VR companies can only dream about." Hologate now has over 300 active locations across 31 countries in over five continents, numbers that are sure to grow on the back of the company’s new launches set for unveiling at IAAPA Expo.
The Hologate Blitz belt-driven racing platform will showcase the futuristic racer Hyper GP, while the Hologate Tower, a two-storey version of the firm’s original four-player platform offering twice the capacity, will host Hologate's growing library of games.
Two new titles set to join the expanding roster are Rig Rebels and Das Boot VR Escape.
Rig Rebels sees players team up and raid a futuristic facility in a race to collect the most NEON, while using their hands to move and climb around the environment, making for a rich, new experience. It will be available from November 11.
Das Boot VR Escape will ask four players to work co-operatively to take control of a German U-boat on a deadly mission inspired by the critically acclaimed anti-war movie and Sky TV series.
Produced by remote control productions and developed by Aesir Interactive, the multiplayer experience launches exclusively on Hologate, following the conclusion of the IAAPA Expo.
Hologate and all its new products can be found on booth 4272 and 4471.
