Two of the largest operators of FECs in Saudi Arabia have concluded major deals for upcoming projects.
Alberto Borrero (pictured, centre), vice-president of international sales at Intercard, said that Majid Al Hokair (right) and Fahad Al Othaim (left) had confirmed significant contracts at the show for the new FEC venues that their respective companies had been busily planning during the lockdown.
Of the show, run from Monday to Wednesday of this week, Borrero said: “Attendance was mild. I think that the larger players are readjusting to a changing scenario in the amusement industry. Their customers are demonstrating new tastes in entertainment and the operators are reacting to it.
“Until they launch their new projects that are now on the drawing board or are in development, the market will be at standstill.”
