Cranes are the chameleons of the coin-op sector - you can dress them up to suit the season and the prize trends. InterGame’s Steph Norbury consults some industry experts to find out their best-selling cranes’ distinguishing features.

“CRANES are a traditional arcade piece that have adapted to the market through updated gameplay, modernised cabinet designs and also their ability stay relevant partly just by updating prizes to keep up with the times,” says Sam Coleman, sales and marketing manager at JNC Sales.
“I think we’ve had a really good balance of new and used cranes over the years, allowing us to help customers find the right machine to suit both our UK and export markets,” he adds. “We’ve always had a demand for used cranes such as Elaut’s EX1 and Big One to name but two, and in recent years we’ve been able to complement the used equipment with high quality new cranes, including the hugely popular Crazy Toy.”
