Alternative adventure golf operator Ghetto Golf is planning to open a branch in Newcastle, UK.
The firm’s website described its concept as offering “crazy golf, theatre, cocktails and DJs in an art infused environment that showcases the very best street art and their writers.”
Its existing Birmingham location has holes inspired by Super Mario, Sonic the Hedgehog, Fresh Prince of Bel Air and Blockbuster Video. Others involve more adults-only themes.
The course is set to feature 18 holes with a bar and food service area seating 50 people. It is hoped to be open for business next month.
