Seminars focused on the future of FECs in Europe, and a spotlight on Italy, plus cashless payments and social entertainment, are lined up for EAG Online, April 20.

The first day of the two-day online event has a wide range of seminar discussions.

First up is the Future of FECs in Europe, with a panel comprising Jason Frost, Euromat president, Kieran O’Keefe, secretary general of Euromat, and Greg Wood, president of BACTA.

Next is the Amusement Revolution in Italy, a discussion on the implications of the review of Italy’s planned reform of the amusement sector. InterGame’s David Snook will moderate the session with noted speakers including Mauro Zaccaria, president of the FEE Consortium, Alessandro Lama, president of Federazione Amusement Confesercenti, Alessio Crisantemi, Editor of GiocoNews, Claudio Dalla Pria, member of SAPAR Service and Jason Frost.

Then will follow a session on cashless payments and their impact on the industry, with James Miller, past BACTA president and moderator, Kiran Karanki, CEO at Semnox, John Rozek of Game Payment Technology and Alex Goldman of Ideal Software.

That will be followed by a seminar on Social Entertainment: The New Play to Play. This will cover the revolution in out-of-home entertainment, discussing the latest forms of entertainment and the mix with social food and drink. The panel will contain Kevin Williams of KWP as moderator, Leif Petersen of Hologate and Armando Lanuti of Creative Works.

Finally, at 3.30pm there will be a UK Industry Update presented by John White, CEO at BACTA.
