The European Blackball Association is to launch a competition pool table in September.
The Optima Match table has been built in conjunction with cloth manufacturer Hainsworth and UK pool table company Optima.
A number of prototype tables have been built during the past year and tested by top players in a series of national and international events. The unveiling of the new table will take place on September 2 at the EBA Nations Cup of Pool, which will be held at the Gleneagle Hotel in Killarney, Ireland.
The table is being made available for the home market as well as in coin-operated format. They are being assembled at Optima Pool’s factory in Manchester, UK.
