Digital Centre, straying slightly from tradition, has released a redemption game, Grand Palace, which is still a photo booth like all the other machines the company makes.

Digital Centre releases photo game

Grand Palace takes four pictures of the player, which are then incorporated into the game, the first edition of which is a casino theme. The four images appear in a slot game among classic symbols of the format. At the end the player gets their pictures printed as they would with a regular photo booth as well as their redemption tickets. The company calls this a “photo game.”

While the first theme for this game is casino, Digital Centre’s owner, Josep Torres, was clear that it is not a gambling machine, and there are plans to incorporate other themes to the game.

“I think it would work well in a casino, but it would also be good in an arcade, or an FEC or a shopping mall,” he said.

The machine’s screen is a massive 3.5m wide and 3.3m tall but this can be decreased if needed. Grand Palace will be available to order in March.

Grand Palace was released at IAAPA earlier this month, also on the stand was the company’s Panther and Eclipse photo booths.
