China Game and Amusement Industry Base has been given the go-ahead to establish itself in the town of Gangkou, Zhongshan, China.

Commenting on the development Liu Jingwang, chairman of CAAPA, said: "CGIAB will bring new opportunities and challenges for Zhongshan and other Chinese cities and will greatly promote the development of the amusement industry in China."
The city of Zhongshan is the birthplace of the game and amusement industry in China and its amusement products provide more than half of the amusement machines in operation in the country. The CGIAB premises will cover more than 3,000 acres of land and it is reported that the first phase area of CGAIB will cover 1,000 acres and will be used for the development of games and amusement factories. The second phase area will cover more than 2,000 acres and be used for research and development and an after sales service.
According to CGIAB it will be the largest game and amusement manufacturing base in the world and it is hoped it will become one of the most influential amusement technological innovation centres in the world.
