Manchester-based Chill Factore, provider of family snow attractions and home to the UK’s longest indoor ski slope, is renovating its facilities.
The operator has decided to invest £500,000 in replacing its existing snow, which has reportedly begun to melt, with approximately 900 tonnes of new snow.
The refurbishment’s aim is to improve the location’s 180m-long slope, which is used for families to ski and snowboard, and the Snow Park, an area for child-based snow activities such as tubing lanes, a luge ice slide, sledge track and the Downhill Donuts course.
