CEC Entertainment, parent company of pizza arcade chain Chuck E Cheese in the US, is expanding its reach to consumers through Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare and HerBlog, and may become active on Pinterest.

Posting viral videos and recruiting mothers to blog about their family's experiences at Chuck E Cheese's are among some of the social media activities CEC Entertainment has planned as part of a new marketing strategy to strengthen its message to parents.

According to Information Week Chuck E Cheese has so far recruited 300,000 Facebook fans and 4,000 Twitter followers and has generated three million YouTube video downloads and close to 900,000 blogger referrals to its website.
