A bowling alley that was the scene of a mass shooting last year is set to reopen.

Just In Time

Just-In-Time Recreation, located in Lewiston, Maine, US, closed after a gunman opened fire at the venue during a youth league event, killing seven people.

The bowling alley has spent the last few months restoring and renovating the venue, with it set to reopen on May 3.

Just-In-Time Recreation features 22 lanes of tenpin bowling and six lanes of candlepin bowling, while a new lighting system has been installed alongside new scoring machines from Brunswick.

Speaking to NBC News, Justin Juray said that he felt like he had to reopen the venue in memory of those killed.
