This is a significant week for UK trade association Bacta, which celebrated its 50th anniversary on Wednesday of last week.
The organisation is holding its Annual Convention in London tomorrow, with high-profile speakers, at One Birdcage Walk.
Bacta was founded on November 20, 1974, a combination of four trade associations, at London’s Bonnington Hotel. It has since survived 12 prime ministers.
Tomorrow, it will field a host of leading politicians, industry personalities, government officials and its own regulator.
