A team of motor cycle enthusiasts from the BACTA UK trade association, known as the BACTA Bikers, are collecting donations once again for the association’s chosen charity, Rays of Sunshine.

BACTA bikers on tour

This year the tour is in the UK and the team visited Newark, in Nottinghamshire, England, to visit two manufacturing companies, Blueprint - part of the Gauselmann Group - and Reflex. Despite the very wet weather, they were welcomed at the two companies and warmed up with drinks and pledges of donations.

Said the Bikers’ Andrew Murden: “Once again we have received fantastic support from our industry friends who know that all of the money collected will go to the charity and that our riders fund their own expenses.”

Next up is to cross the border into Wales where the Bikers will take a two-day route in order to collect all of the pledges already made by the Welsh industry.

The progress can be charted on Andy Murden’s Just Giving web page, here.
