BACTA, the trade association for the UK amusement and gaming industry, has engaged industry journalist and PR professional Steph Norbury to deliver strategic business-to-business marketing.

Steph Norbury

Steph is well known in the industry, with over 20 years of editing and PR experience. For the past 10 years, she has published Coin-op Community, combining news with a focus on the people who work in the sector.

“We felt Steph would be the perfect candidate to communicate to the industry press the wide-ranging work that BACTA does, including training, social responsibility, regional, national and international events, the work of the Charitable Trust and #Tickets2Wishes - as well as all the other areas that bring benefit to our membership,” said BACTA president James Miller.

“I am very excited and honoured to work with our industry trade association disseminating good news stories across print, digital and social media,” said Norbury. “I hope to liaise with BACTA members to highlight the many great initiatives they are undertaking in their own businesses locally, as well as to focus on all the fantastic work that the association does to support the industry and its chosen charities.

“I particularly want to draw attention to #Tickets2Wishes, which is a great success story and to encourage more BACTA members to participate and benefit from the positive PR that comes with it.”
